Dr. Macarius M. Abdelsayed

A graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Biology and the Dental College of Georgia, Dr. Abdelsayed performed his oral surgery residency at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Augusta University. He was the co-investigator in published research regarding genomic analysis of jaw tumors. In 2020 Dr. Abdelsayed received the William H. Bell Award. Dr. Abdelsayed is an Augusta, Georgia native and is an active member of St. Augustine Coptic Orthodox church and served in several mission trips to Peru and Haiti.
